We stayed for one night for a 60th wedding anniversary celebration. I think the rooms inside the house are much nicer, than the “quality inn” type rooms in the 2 story walk ups. My father in-law found it difficult to manage the stairs with double knee replacements. It would have been nice if the receptionist had taken visual note of his cane and offered him main floor accommodations.
My bathroom tissue box was empty and was very dusty. It was obvious no one had cleaned it in quite some time.
We have stayed here several times over the years. It feels like it needs a good refresh. The breakfast menus for example, had items that they don’t make anymore, however because they are laminated, and cost $1 to make and they have 100 of them it’s too costly to make new ones. As explained to us by our waitress.
