“We arrived late at night in the rain, and although the directions had told me there was a keyless entry, the key box by the front door threw me off, and we struggled with that for a minute before I remembered the email. lol Removing that might be a good idea. The cabin was clean, but we did have to contact the owner for more towels, because there were only 2 for 3 adults, and there were only sheets for the pullout couch/bed, no blanket. “We enjoyed the house and really appreciated the responsiveness of the host. While the location is between a small road and train tracks, it wasn’t overly distracting or loud. The access to the water was unobstructed and relaxing. The master bed was probably the most comfortable that I’ve ever slept in away from home, with quality bedding and mattress. The property was also great for our dog, with a contained back yard and front porch. Definitely recommend! ”

“The cabin was clean and had a gorgeous view of the river! The scent of the cabin was strong for my taste (woody? Candles? Not sure). There is not much to do in nearby areas but my goal was to stay near new river gorge park not to be in a place with lots to do, so this was perfect! Only downside is proximity to the train tracks. Train is very loud as it passes, but I would stay there again! I ran into the host’s son walking his dog as I was leaving because he lives nearby and he was so kind and……
