“Great place”

“The location was really good for us and the area. The rental was clean and had every thing you would need. We stayed in the first of Sept and there is one small AC for the unit that is located in the bedroom. It was off when we arrived and took several hours to cool down and from there we left it on and it was cool enough when we got back in the evenings. A really nice couple owns it and they live on the property but let you have your own space. The outside space was nice to have for our use……

“We used the property as a home base while touring southern South Dakota. A sign as you enter stating "No shoes" would be helpful. The stairs to the loft could be a problem for some individuals”

“This was a great little place for our family to stay! Everyone had their own place to sleep and hang out together. Loved it! The only thing I didn’t realize before we got there (my own lack of reading) was that there wasn’t AC. ”

“This is the perfect place to stay for all of your Black Hills adventures! Located in downtown Custer within walking distance to shops, great restaurants, laundromat, and a grocery store. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a bucket of snacks, and a binder full of tourist information. Clean and very cozy. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Comfortable, clean, and quiet but stuff to do right outside the building.”

“I felt that it was a nice location. Overlooks river, attention to details like extra razor , books , games. Cute space. We will definitely book again on our next trip. I wished we could have been allowed in 30 minutes early but that wasn’t possible. ”
