“We often travel to Provincetown from Providence for a night or two, and often stay at the Sandcastle Resort, which is excellent for an inexpensive yet comfortable getaway. The studio apartment is well designed and efficient. The murphy bed is comfortable. We upgraded to a beach view and enjoyed a magnificent sunset. ”
"AVOID THIS HOTEL
One of the towels provided had a brown stain that was extremely ugly (doubt it may be undesirable marks, with a bad smell). What's worse is that I discovered it after shower when I was using it. This was unacceptable, especially for an esteemed vacation house like this.
When I reported the issue to the front desk during check out, I received no apology and was told that no compensation could be offered because the booking was made through a third party (on Expedia), and the front desk could do nothing about it. He said he would report to the manager, and I received no follow-up. I find this response both unprofessional and disappointing. I also wrote an email to the management team and received no response. The general experience was unpleasant. I hope I can receive proper settlement from the hotel management team."
