I dont typically write bad reviews, but I was very disappointed with my stay here. Despite the issues that I will explain, I want to make it clear that the staff that I interacted with were very kind.
The biggest issues that we faced, that the hotel had control over, were in the room. We stayed in room 232, and once we entered the room there was a bit of an odd smell immediately. This smell came from an AC unit that had soaked the carpet in the surrounding area. About two feet out from the wall and the whole length of the AC unit was just soaked carpet. This was the biggest issue. Beyond this, there were cobb webs in some obvious places, what looked to be a urine stain on the base tile next to the toilet, a bathroom door that not only wouldnt lock but wouldnt latch at all, and a loose toilet seat. Again, I dont typically leave bad reviews or complain at all, and most of these things I wouldnt normally care about or even mention. The soaked floor was just unacceptable, and it led to everything else being more frustrating.
It simply felt like there has been a severe lack of care, at least for room 232. I take some responsibility for my frustration, as i didnt complain or raise my concerns to any of the staff while i was there. Again, despite the frustrations, the staffs' kindness and customer service skills were awesome. Just a facility issue.
