“Great stay at the Windmill. The location is picturesque and overlooks the entire port. For those where views are king, this is the place for you. The service was amazing and check in was very easy. The host was knowledgeable and gave me some great recommendations as to where to go. “Giannis was very attentive and customer oriented. He actually drove us to our room in 2 groups. The reason I rated the overall trip at 2 stars was the billing problem. “My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. Checking in was a hassle due to a wrong number listed for the hotel reception in the information provided. However, the location more than made up for it. Elephant Beach, right next to the rental room, is the most beautiful beach on the island in my opinion. The room itself was quite basic, but the views were fantastic. While there was a lot of traffic noise near the room, I still believe the rooms were good value for the price”

“The lady who checks you in and runs the place is a saint. She took care of me during a difficult time. She made sure I was safe, helped me book a ferry and taxi to get back to Athens to go home due to a medical and personal emergency. She even made sure I ate and had water. The property is beautiful, right by the water and you can’t ask for a kinder host! Even comes with a bottle of wine. ”

“We can’t say enough good things about this property, the amenities and the people who run it! It wa ax pristine clean, located within walking distance to the port and had the nicest breakfast in our room each morning. They set up drives for us to Sarakiniko beach and the airport.
