The property is excellently located at the convenient location near the airport and in the center of all the activities Cancún have to offer. I had the best margaritas and shrimp tacos. The hospitality from the staff is like Hollywood. The food is delicious and a wide varieties to choose from. There’s different activities to do everyday.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Residences Riviera Cancún! The property itself is stunning — beautiful architecture, immaculate grounds, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The service was truly exceptional; every staff member we interacted with was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special.
The food overall was good, and we especially enjoyed the à la carte dining options and room service. However, the buffet could use some improvement in terms of variety and quality compared to other resorts we've visited. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not quite at the same level as the rest of the resort experience.
One thing to note is that the location is a bit isolated — it’s not within walking distance to shops or major attractions, so if you’re looking to explore, you’ll need transportation. That said, the tranquility and seclusion are part of the charm if you're looking for a true getaway.
Despite the minor notes, we would absolutely return. The beautiful setting, outstanding service, and overall quality make Grand Residences Riviera Cancún a place we look forward to visiting again.

From the free private pickup at the airport to our personal concierge, we had exceptional service from the moment we arrived! We felt like family as we arrived, spoken to by name, handed drinks we'd pre-ordered from the car, checked-in right away and then introduced to our concierge. She went over our dinner reservations for the week, gave us a brief tour of the resort and got us settled in. The resort was wonderfully accessible with ramps and elevators. We appreciated the care taken for the environment, lots of eco practices in place. The lounge chair reservation service was wonderful, no fighting over saving chairs, a huge relief! The beach servers were attentive but not pushy, we had all the drinks and food we needed each day and the ice lollies and fruit skewers that were handed out midday were a wonderful treat. The resort was kept incredibly clean and the staff worked tirelessly to tidy and take care of us. Our villa was very spacious and comfortable and our bathroom had large bath sheet towels (a huge plus for two women over 6ft tall!) The evening turn down service was a lovely bonus. 24-hour room service was a great option and the food and drink at each and every restaurant was exceptional.
Two minor downsides:
The time share push is real, but it wasn't overbearing. Our concierge tried, and tried and we said no thank you and that was sort of it. She was pretty attentive the first couple of days, texting and checking in, saying hi across the resort when she saw us -

Overall, this was an upscale resort and is very open to the beach for incredible views. Beach is very accessible- just steps away from the closest buildings. The food was excellent but there are only two restaurants. However, there were no long waits while we were there and we booked the meals we wanted through the concierge (2 prior to arriving) and the rest upon arriving. The concierge helped book a great excursion and saved us some money and gave us great tips- taking towels, tipping, and box lunches to go. We loved painting ceramics and you could borrow games and such but activities, rentals, and beach all closed early ( around 5 pm). Only one pool for kids and it’s deep with no shade. Beach was closed due to wind and strong waves 4/5 days during our trip (April). The double beds were the hardest mattresses we’ve ever used but they brought mattress pads upon request, however they did not cover the whole bed. Still, we enjoyed the relaxing, peaceful atmosphere, great service, and felt safe letting our kids explore and go do activities. The company they use for transportation for travel to and from the airport is excellent. They start construction in May 2025 of a new side of the property so not sure how that will affect things.
