I liked the beautiful pool by the beach. I was disappointed about the ocean view from my balcony, the only thing I could see was the wall. The room had a weird smell. I made a reservation for three nights but I decided to go to another resort after the first night. I wanted to go to the buffet for breakfast but there was a very long line. I have been to several resorts and this is the first time I had to get in line to have breakfast. I couldn’t sleep the night that I spent there because there were service carts going back and forth in the hallway, very noisy. The Expedia concierge did a great job trying to find me a better room although the resort was not what I was expecting.

No volvería a regresar, la propiedad no cumplió lo reservado a pesar de haber pagado por adelantado, si hubiera podido cancelo el primer día. Pague por una recamara King Zice y lo que me dieron fueron dos camas juntas, dos horas después de la hora de entrada pactada. Sus instalaciones son viejas y se descomponen con frecuencia. En mi estancia tuvieron que ir dos veces. Poca variedad de Snacks para varios días y no hay personal que se acerque a ver si uno necesita algo. Lo único rescatable son los restaurantes y algunos empleados que se esmeran por atender. En conclusión no lo recomiendo como opción, buscaría otros hoteles en un próximo viaje.

We booked this Punta Mita resort through Expedia expecting a 5-star experience, but what we got was anything but. Our 9-year-old was supposed to sleep on the sofa bed, which turned out to be broken and infested with bugs. When we called the front desk, we were told someone would come to “verify” — but after 40 minutes, no one arrived. Instead, they tried to dismiss it as “seasonal” and even asked if we had brought food into the room. Meanwhile, bugs were flying around and my child had nowhere safe to sleep. At nearly midnight, after multiple calls and being shuffled around, we were told the resort would not issue a refund “because you booked through Expedia.” A manager never came, and staff showed zero urgency or hospitality. We were even pressured to sign a form stating our early departure wasn’t the resort’s fault — which we refused. Exhausted and upset, we checked out the same day we arrived and paid out of pocket for another hotel. We did not stay a single night. Expedia has yet to step up, telling us repeatedly to wait for the resort’s approval. Expedia should take responsibility to resolve this matter instead of leaving it solely to the property. After booking 50+ trips with Expedia, I am shocked at the lack of support. I paid for a safe, habitable resort stay, and none was provided. This was a clear health and safety issue. We lost money, time, and trust. Avoid this resort, and reconsider using Expedia if you expect them to protect you when things go wrong.

Besides a great view of their beach, the resort needs an overall corrections! Some of their restaurants roofs were leaking when rain was coming! The pedestrian passages thru the buildings and outsides were dirty and their ambience filled with bad smell! The given bedrooms were not cleaned thoroughly. We didn’t feel comfortable living in them. The variety of food selections were very limited and the taste and quality of foods were very poor. And because of its distance from city and lack of souvenirs stores, we had a hard time going anywhere to roam around. And finally, travelling to the purchased attractions and back were separate from their cost of expensive attractions! we’re not going back!

Would not recommend this hotel It is expensive and it's not a 5 star hotel. They need to learn what is a good service and a good experience for their clients. Don't have enough people to provide a quality service. You have to wait more than an hour to get a table at any of the restaurants. We overpaid to get a premium or VIP service and we did not receive any additional benefit on that upgrade. Very disappointing experience.

I enjoyed the property, especially the forest, the beach area, the views, and the feeling of being surrounded by nature. That was my favorite part of the stay. The food options were fine, though not outstanding. One thing I did not like was that the restaurants had no air conditioning, so every meal was uncomfortably hot and I was sweating heavily. This made dining there inconvenient.

This property is definitely not a 5 star resort, it’s more like a 1 star. Rooms are extremely dirty and outdated, upon our visit our rooms ac went out and staff didn’t seem to care about doing anything about it, power kept going off, flooding in rooms, dirty bathrooms(kind of disgusted by the conditions of this resort) and food, food was inedible- buffet had more flies on all food than you can imagine and room service was definitely the worst I’ve ever had. Always took 2-3 hours to deliver food and the quality of the food was terrible.

No hay elevadores, esto hace que el acceso a la propiedad sea dificil. Para llegar a la piscina para adultos la distancia es tremenda y tienes que hacer toda una excursion para poder llegar. El entretenimiento es terrible, solo tienen actividades para ninos y lo que es para adultos parece que es para ninos, deberian incluir algo divertido y engtretenido ya que el punto es ir a divertirse y como el hotel esta retirado de la civilizacion no hay muchas opciones para pasarla bien en el hotel. No hay acceso para personas discapacitadas, seria recomendable que las instalaciones las adaptaran para personas discapacitadas.
