Seems they do their best to provide a good hotel experience at a very low level facility. It’s not a wanna return to stay place sorry to say. The food/restaurant options are at best cafeteria type dining experience. The staff are attentive and try to help hotel guests as best as they can. Overall, it is not a place I’d return to stay.

Hi, I stayed here for with my boyfriend for our summer vacation, and we were the ONLY Americans in the whole resort/hotel, It was all local people. Partying went on till 1AM, the rooms was dirty when arriving, the paint from the ceiling was falling apart in the shower, the toilet seat was broken, the bathroom vent was leaking water all over the place, and shower didn’t drain, nor bathroom sink. Just be aware black mold was everywhere, and the resort/hotel is DEFINITELY not what the pictures show online.

Unfortunately our experience at Krystal Vallarta was not a good one. We had previously stayed at this hotel in 2019 and had a great experience (booked 4 rooms), so decided to book again. Our family booked a total of 7 rooms this time around and right from the beginning, we started experiencing issues. We got locked out of 4 rooms, keys wouldn’t work, shower and sink in one room overflowed, air conditioner in one room wasn’t working, safe wouldn’t open in another room and we couldn’t access money. Hotel sold part of their property which included a huge part of their biggest pool and we weren’t made aware that construction would be going on everyday, starting early in the morning 8am. When we went to hang out at the pool, we were greeted with a family of 35 that took over entire pool area and was full on having a volleyball match with no consideration for any of us other guests. Balls were flying left and right, hitting and splashing others and the family never once apologized. There was no hotel staff at pools keeping order, so everyone was pretty much doing whatever they wanted. This same family of 35, was gathering in rooms (multiple floors), having parties very late into the night/early morning, making lots of noise. Definitely not the experience we were hoping to have and must say, won’t be staying here ever again .

No me gusto porque el hotel es muy grande y para llegar a la playa esta muy lejos. Hay mucha gente y poca tranquilidad.. Pésimo servicio de alimentos a la habitacio . Realmente es un hotel de tres estrellas. Cobran el estacionamiento a los huéspedes cuando un buen hotello ofrece gratuito.

Hola, estuvo pésima la experiencia. Tuvimos muchos inconvenientes. (1) En la alberca, pudimos ver como los meseros de la alberca pasaban por los vasos sucios y mezclaban los líquidos con otros vasos de otros huéspedes; (2) vimos también que tiraban los hielos de vasos en el piso junto a la alberca, en el pasto, donde la gente se sentaba; (3) en ese mismo jardín, se formaba un charco con el agua de la alberca y los residuos de los vasos de los meseros, ese charco estaba lleno de larvas. Fue entonces que decidimos salirnos del hotel. Como pueden ver, ese mismo día se hizo el check out y nos fuimos al Marriot de Vallarta, que también hicimos la reservación por Expedia. Hablamos con la gerencia del Hotel Kristal y nos dijeron que entendían la situación pero que no podían devolvernos el dinero porque la reserva se había hecho a través de Expedia. El hotel aseguró que NO iban a cargar nada a la cuenta, pero que tenía que hablar con Expedia directamente para que se nos regresara el importe pagado. Les solicito de la manera màs atenta, el reembolso de este hotel ya que tuve que pagar el Marriot ese mismo día, como lo pueden constatar en el historial de las transacciones. Gracias.

I liked the customer service. I hated the downsizing of resort. The elimination of 1 pool , restaurant, bar and other amenities. Very poor communication with public. I felt decieved. Only 1 restaurant in service. The same menu all day. Pitiful. I won't go anymore. I believe this resort is going to be a at best 1 star huge motel. I wish it weren't true.
