“Visited Astoria with adult children and everyone was delighted with this home away from home! Comfortable and spacious with attention to detail! The host was on location and very accommodating making sure we had everything we could possibly need and giving us advice on local eateries etc. Views of the river from the two living spaces was spectacular to wake up to with a cup of coffee. “I visited with my daughter and 11 month old granddaughter. The studio was very cozy and had beautiful views of trees and a small river. The wood stove already had wood waiting for us to be lit, which was perfect on a rather chilly night. We just learned not to leave the fire on for too long, because the stove puts out a lot of heat and it can get too hot to sleep at night. The kitchen nook was well equipped and we were able to cook simple meals easily. It was very quiet (except for some noisy……

“We had a lovely, quiet time at the River Loft Cabin. The upstairs had a fun typewriter with paper and lots of boardgames for a night in. The drive in was a little windy and on small roads, so I'd recommend making sure to head that way during the day and bring food with you since the town is so small and finding a bite might be hard. Truly a nature experience!”
