We ordered an ocean view and could not see the ocean from our room. The WiFi was unusable from our room and our bedding was damp. We had to run the water for 30 mins to get hot water. The hotel layout is weird, we had to walk 20 mins to get to some of the restaurants. We stayed for 4 nights and couldn’t get any reservations for the first two nights, so we barely got to try any of the a la carte restaurants. The ones we did try, the food was mediocre. Service was a hit or miss, we had to wait 40 mins to place our order for one of the restaurants. The beach was filled with boats so the view wasn’t very scenic. The pools were nice though.

My Fiance and our baby enjoyed our stay, it was a dream , only downside was that we couldn’t get reservations for certain restaurants because they where fully booked every time, other than that it was a perfect get away.

The Resort was absolutely beautiful - well maintained and picture perfect! Grounds were consistently being worked on and beach was cleaned every day of any kind of seaweed build up on shoreline. Staff was super friendly, contrary to what other reviews stated. We went in with smiles and a little bit of Spanish language and when we tried to use their language, they really appreciated it and tried to help. No language barrier and staff was always friendly and trying to help us. One minor complaint was the shows were late......10pm is late when you've been day drinking and go out for a nice dinner. Maybe they could do 2 shows - one for children time and one for adults or just make shows earlier for all Families as we didn't get to see one show and heard the auditorium was almost empty at showtime. Thank you Lopesan and the Beach Bar Staff for making our trip so much fun!!

The beach was beautiful at the resort. The staff is all very accommodating and helpful. The pool was stunning, but a pitfall was a lack of available seating. Every morning all the seat would be taken and reserved by other guest with the towel so no chairs would be remaining. they say there is a no reservation policy to pool seat, but they do not follow this rule at the resort. I found the specialty dinning to be disappointing, but the buffets was exceptional. i felt they could have offered more adult activities by the beach or pool. Plenty for children if they attended.

The hotel was beautiful. My room was upgraded for free. The hotel provided me a gift for my birthday along with a birthday card. The buffet had a variety of food. It tasted pretty good. El Asador had great tasting steaks. I do like that the buffet was a walk in. When it comes to the other restaurants, you have to book a seat. However, it was hard for us to get a seat because most of the restaurants were fully booked. I would advise to book a seat a day earlier for a reservation. The hotel staff kept the property very well maintained. The beach was beautiful. We grab most of our souvenirs on the beach because it was cheaper. There were lots of activities for any age group. The property has areas for adults only, which was a plus. I enjoyed my seaweed wrap while my fiancee had a massage. We also went to their cigar lounge and the escape room (Escapology). There was live music as well. Staff were all very pleasant. We felt very safe as the security monitored the property area. We had a private dinner on the beach. I would definitely recommend this all inclusive resort. It is perfect for singles, couples and families.

Our stay at Lopesan in the Dominican Republic was ruined by a calculated theft. $360 in cash, my wife’s credit card, and earrings were stolen from our room. The thief waited until our last day to start using the stolen card, making it clear this was planned. Our luggage was searched neatly, with only valuables taken. When I reported the theft, hotel management ignored me, forcing me to contact the U.S. Embassy and local police. I was told to wait until 9:00 AM to speak with security, only to be dismissed after a 40-minute meeting. The Politur office in Novas refused to intervene, stating the hotel was private property. Later that night, around 10:30 PM, security and police came to our room just to take photos of my passport, making us feel unsafe. An officer named Reyes was even seen secretly photographing me outside the hotel. Suspiciously, no cleaning staff appeared in our hallway the next day until we were about to leave, further proving this was an inside job. Instead of enjoying our last day, we were left feeling uneasy, especially with our kids. I have documented everything, including photos of the officers involved. Travelers should be aware—this hotel has serious security concerns.

The buffet was the same every night. The breakfast buffet was lacking. The pool side buffet was so limited and not good not to mention often shut down to get ready for weddings. Can not use steakhouse if you have kids. Drinks weak. Lots of walking. Great water park. Good late entertainment. But way too late

Probably the best all inclusive around. Love how personable everyone is, and how luxurious our vacation felt. No problems with the water or ice. Always something to do. Something to see. Will come back time and time again.

The property is gorgeous and large. Get ready to walk! Many things are in further locations. The staff is friendly and helpful. My suggestion to the resort is to upgrade to hotter burner/ warmer lamps. The food is good but not hot, it’s more of a warm but not even that. We like hot food and no matter what time of day you go to the buffet the food is not hot, even when you see them come out the kitchen with the food.

I would recommend to anyone booking a trip to Punta Cana. If I had to nit pick I would say that offerings at the buffet were not warm enough for hot items. Layout of the floors were a little confusing, but after a few days you get the hang of it. Will definitely visit again. Thank you, Lopesan Costa Bavaro.
