My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. I initially worked with planner Estefania for my 30th reunion, paid a deposit, and received a quote. After she was fired, no one could find my original quote, and I had to get re-quoted, which was double the initial price. It took numerous calls and emails to finally get the price lowered. The reservation included two cabanas for a foam party, but upon arrival, I was told the foam party was canceled without proper communication. Despite staff and the DJ claiming it was rescheduled, they continued selling cabanas advertising the foam party—even on the day of my event. We even purchased three more cabanas and daybeds, only to be told there was no foam party. Manager Edger said foam parties “don’t happen every week,” yet they kept advertising it daily. Jennifer, the new planner, ignored my concerns, and Edger never returned after promising to investigate. The organization was chaotic, staff was dismissive, and I felt mistreated. The food was poor. I would not recommend this place.
Oh yea.. even when it was time to leave they said I did not pay for the cabanas with the planner. They had to investigate to find that I did.
In the end the staff have no clue what’s going on in that hotel. They are trained to hustle and that’s it!
