The roof pool and deck was closed the entire week. No reason was ever given. No advance notice was given. The automated check in process was confusing and a hassle. I had no idea where to go based on the room number being listed as 1NM18040. I had to ask someone at reception. They then gave me the drink vouchers I was supposed to get at check in and didn't because of it being automated. The parking deck wouldn't let us in. I went back to reception and they set it up for us. Too confusing. The restaurants were closed on certain days, fine, but instead of a grid it calendar, we got a memo with text explaining which was open when and at what times. A row of boxes would've been so much easier. When I ordered pancakes at the American Grill, I saw on the sign that "All Plates Come With Potatoes." But for some reason, my pancakes don't come with potatoes. Why not? And why isn't that listed on the sign? So when I asked, they made me some anyway, but I still felt like a jerk for asking.
Despite all that, the property was clean, the rooms were nice. The food was horribly overpriced, but what I expected at a place like this. It was difficult to find outdoor seating in some areas that wasn't covered in bird poop. I appreciated the ceiling fan in the room. A high-speed Ethernet port should be standard in the room. I really wanted a "sit and work" office area like found at most major hotel chains. The gym was nice. All the towels are not absorbent enough, either at the pool, gym, or rooms.
