The resort itself is beautiful — clean, well-maintained, and designed with relaxation in mind. My room was spacious, modern, and had an incredible view. Housekeeping kept everything spotless without ever being intrusive. The food was a major highlight. There were so many options between the buffets, restaurants, and bars, and every meal was fresh and full of flavor. I loved being able to try a little bit of everything — from authentic local dishes to international favorites. Plus, having unlimited drinks by the pool made it even better.

The food overall and specifically the menus for vegans were incredible! A special shout out to Javier for making my husband a special vegan breakfast! The kindness of the staff at the larger buffet was incredible. The aqua sports team were great- I had so much fun with the aqua fit, the spinning and the board classes . My master class tequila tasting was perfection! The Cielo Bar is magical at night and there is no cocktail they couldn't make! The beach staff and pool staff were always present and attentive with menus and drinks. the night entertainment was fun. I heard from some reviews that the hotel is on the quiet side almost boring! We couldn't disagree more . There was a great 80s band one night, karaoke another night and the other night I went there was the silent disco which was a blast! We loved this hotel so much that we're going back for my birthday in October . Thankyou Atelier....see you again!

Overall an average experience. Food is good, nice pools and beach, awesome bar, mixologist(salute to Irvin), right amount of things to do for 5 nights. What lowers the rating in my mind: 1). building 2 is VERY noise especially in the morning. I can hear ppl above me flushing toilet then wash hand, ac making a noise on certain fan speed, cleaning lady dragging chairs next door at 8 in the morning, ppl talking loudly in the hallway although it's supposed to be a quiet zone, etc; 2). The waiter in some restaurants are super proud and mean, treating you like it's a privilege to dine at their restaurant, literally feels like they are educating you. Same thing happens to some bellman and concierge staff. Don't get me wrong, most of them are doing a wonderful job, just a couple of them are enough to ruin your day; 3). room is not that clean. You can easily find watermark under the mirror and in the tub. Room cleaning is inconsistent and not standardized. Some days they do a perfect job that they even fold every piece of your cloth, but some days the just come in redo the bed and take the tip. They put different kind of and different amount of towels randomly anywhere. Bottled water are not refilled even they see there's only few left. It looks like it totally depends on the cleaning staff's mood. All these might sounds like nitpicks but if Atelier is treating themselves as a 5 star hotel, they should put more efforts on educating their employees and set standards.

This resort is beautiful and the food was excellent (for all inclusive resort food, if you know what I mean). The staff was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. They sent me a chocolate mouse and bottle of champagne to celebrate my birthday. The pool and beach were amazing and there were plenty of fun activities and shows to attend. There are a couple things that I was a little disappointed in and that was the lack of warning regarding there being a 72-hour lead time to request transportation from/to the airport. However, the company they work with is expensive, there are cheaper options available if that is something you care about. Additionally, there is a Michelin star Mexican restaurant on site but they do not warn you about making a reservation well in advance because the restaurant was booked our entire stay and was book out for at least a month. Lastly, the massages were very mediocre. While the spa itself was nice and the hydrotherapy was great I was definitely disappointed in my massage. Would not necessarily recommend. Overall though I had an amazing experience and would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Atelier Playa Mujeres! My wife and I were impressed by the professional service and friendly staff. The food options were fantastic, with so much variety to choose from. The high-speed WiFi was a big plus—uploading photos to our cloud drive was super fast. Highly recommend!
