Modern and clean resort but it is more for adults not people with kids. They have very small pool for the families and also there is no buffet.

Gorgeous property, excellent staff and amenities. Did not love having to make reservations in person ahead of time from 9-5 at the front desk for dinner, it was inconvenient and would prefer they offer online reservations. However everything was perfect; Will absolutely be back.

A Wonderful Experience for the Whole Family – SLS Playa Mujeres We had such an amazing time at SLS Playa Mujeres! This place is perfect for bringing family and friends—relaxing, welcoming, and filled with truly exceptional service. Ramiro and Dayana at Verde (the juice bar) were absolutely wonderful. They treated us like family and made us feel so at home. The protein smoothies were delicious, and the fruit was fresh and full of flavor. Their kindness and attention to detail made every visit special. Alejandra gave us the most wonderful service. She was amazing—so professional, attentive, and warm. We truly appreciated the way she went above and beyond to make our experience smooth and enjoyable. We also want to thank Jahir at The Press (coffee shop), who prepared our coffee each morning just the way we liked it. His friendly attitude and consistency added such a lovely touch to our mornings. We can’t forget to mention the Sculpt fitness area—it was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the staff there were incredibly kind and attentive. It made it so easy and enjoyable to stay active during our stay. From start to finish, we felt completely spoiled—in the best way! Thank you to everyone at SLS Playa Mujeres for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

The property was nice but the water wasn’t as blue as it showed! Only can get drinks from 10 am - 6 pm , and the activities they said that were included , were not. Towards the first buildings and kid area it smells like sewer. Food is okay, I was sick for a few days in the beginning of trip

Pros: The facilities are stuning, service cordial most of the time, food overall 10/10 with many options to pick from, drinks well done with lots of variety, gyms are amazing, adults pool had a great vibe with lounge style of music and plenty of recliners. Cons: Service still adjusting which is evident in the restaurants where service tended to be slow, mix orders or just forget about us, waitresses usually group and chit-chat forgetting customers (this happened in all restaurants throughout my stay), there is no exterior fans so the heat is unbearable - had to cancel reservation at the italian restaurant-, and it gets pretty loud in common areas because of children - particularly restaurants and rooms hallways, beach with lots of seaweed (Jun), but not the hotels fault. Overall, good choice for the price, which went already up. Thus, for my trip in July going to another one only adults at a better price, but similar style.

We recently stayed here with a big group of friends and family—11 adults and 8 kids under 6—and overall, the experience was fantastic! The service stood out thanks to amazing staff members like Ana at the Market buffet, Romeo at Caracol, Christian at the Bungalow, Arturo at Filia, and the incredible beach and pool servers who kept everyone happy and hydrated. Special shoutout to Mauricio, our butler, who went above and beyond to help us coordinate dinner reservations for our large group, even through three birthday celebrations. The beach was a dream—clear, calm, and peaceful. The location is ideal, and the amenities were solid, especially the awesome waterpark (a big hit with the kids!) and the adorable kids club with a fun outdoor play area. There were also shows almost every night, special shoutout to a music band that played our last night there and made us danced with its fun lead singer Gloria. We enjoyed delicious lunches at Cleo, where fresh fish and grilled seafood were a standout, and also loved grabbing food at The Bungalow by the beach. If you go, don’t miss Filia—the Italian food there was top-notch.The family pool was a bit on the small side considering is for families. A couple of downsides: one night we were seated on the terrace at Union, and the heat made it tough to enjoy enjoy the meal—Jonathan, our waiter, was the highlight for trying to get us through it quickly and kindly. And one evening our jacuzzi was scalding hot, which was a safety concern.

Food & Allergy Care Each meal, especially breakfast, offered a wide variety of options from traditional Mexican dishes to plant-based items, fresh juices, pastries, and made-to-order stations. What truly stood out was how well the resort accommodated food allergies. Service & Responsiveness From check-in to check-out, the staff were warm, professional, and proactive. Housekeeping, concierge, room service, and poolside staff were quick to respond and always respectful. Cleanliness Our room was refreshed daily, with fresh linens and well-stocked amenities. Housekeeping was consistent and efficient, always working quietly and without disruption. Shared spaces like the lobby, hallways, pool area, and restaurants were spotless.

This place is exceptional! The food was amazing, the amenities were top tier and the resort was so beautiful. The only area for concern is how hot the stone walkways become in the day and poor markings for ledges and steps, making the resort a little pit of a trip hazard. Grip tape or a reflective strip could make a world of a difference. Special kudos to the following people who were awesome during our stay.
