“We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night break. The cottage is one of the nicest we've stayed in, really well equipped and with some lovely, thought-out homely touches e.g. lovely reed difusers, Helpful laundry basket and sweet key hooks. Would definitely visit gin!”

“A wonderful location for a last minute short break. The Barn was exactly what we needed and as described. We could happily sit and look at the Views and sunset from the garden / patio, whilst relaxing. Walking possible direct from the Barn and easy access to loads of places to visit across the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Great communication from host. We highly recommend & I am sure we will rebook. Thank you.”

“We had the best time at Evington house. It was a perfect weekend. The house is beautiful and worked so well for the 12 ladies.There was a slight issue with the WiFi which we needed as the signal wasn’t great but Seb got straight onto it and it was sorted straight away.We would definitely stay here again.”

“Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size.”

“Roy was an exceptional host, he was very informative about how to get to the property as the sat nav was a little bit unreliable. He showed us around the hut with all the facilities that were available. The hut had everything u could possible need. It was beautiful and relaxing and I cannot fault it at all. The village was about a 10 min drive which has everything u would need. The hot tub was a very nice treat in the evening, even if it did rain. Thank u so much Roy for making us feel very……

“Unfortunately, our stay at Danby Lodge to celebrate a 60th birthday with family was beset by problems. Not least of which was the complete lack of communication from the property owner/manager. Like others said the owner could not accept the payment via Vrbo and sent a separate link. I paid but received no acknowledgment of my booking & was left worried that I had been scammed out of a large amount of money. Even on the day we were due to arrive I did not receive the access code as promised and……

“Lovely location with great views across to the Malverns. Located at edge of woods on a smallholding with sheep paddock behind accomodation in annex room above garage block. Very helpful and friendly hosts Mimi and Arthur. Nice woodland walks from the doorstep, would happily return if in the area again.”
