Das Hotel hat eine super Lage und ist zu Fuß nur 5-10Minuten von der Altstadt mit seinen kleinen Gassen entfernt. Die Promenade befindet sich ebenfalls in 5Minuten zu Fuß. Parken ist am Hotel leider nicht möglich. Parkhäuser sind in der Altstadt anzufinden. Es ist ein sehr schönes,altes Gebäude,welches modernisiert worden ist mit einem Hinterhof. Zum Frühstück gibt es eine kleine Auswahl an Joghurt, Croissant, Obst und Marmelade. Kaffee ist jederzeit per Nespresso verfügbar.

Das kleine Boutique-Hotel Cap Diamant besticht durch die stilvolleund authentische Einrichtung, eine sehr angenehme familiäre Atmosphäre und vor allem durch die absolute Nähe zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der City von Québec (nur 5 Minuten zum Chateau Frontenac, 3 Minuten zur Zitadelle und max. 10 Min zu Fuß zum Viertel Downtown). Die Betreiberin des Hotels hat stets ein offenes Ohr für alle Belange ihrer Gäste. Ein kleines kontinentales Frühstück ist inbegriffen und wird am Platz serviert, allerdings kein Buffet. Einziger kleiner Abzug waren die fehlenden Abstellflächen im (sehr kleinen) Bad. Absolute Empfehlung für dieses besondere kleine "Schmuckstück" im Herzen von Québec!

The service was beyond excellent. Staff was fluent in French and English. Very helpful with luggage and suggestions for nearby restaurants. Marie-Eve was especially helpful.

Hotel Cap Diamant was a delight. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Beautifully restored building. Every detail taken into consideration. Furniture, linens and glasswear were just lovely. Breakfast room overlooks a beautiful walled garden. Located very close to heart of Old Quebec City. There are stairs to enter the building and all but one room require more stairs. We will stay here again!

Very nice experience. Room was clean and spacious, shower had abundant hot water, and a nice rainshower/wand combo. The continental breakfast was fresh and delicious. The only downside, is getting up the front stairs. I would not have booked this hotel, had I known how steep the stairs were, because of my bad knees. Other than that, we loved staying there!

Excellent boutique hotel. Bathrooms are small but expected in a historical house/hotel. Wonderful continental breakfast and amenities. Can control the temp in room which is wonderful. Also neat sitting/working rooms on the first and second floor and access to by the glass wine at any time. Wonderful stay for our anniversary!

Rooms had firm but very comfortable beds! The service was exceptional! Oliver was so thoughtful and welcoming! Restaurant options were many, and all within 15 min walk. Close to Old Town and Chateau. Highly recommend!!

The pros; very conveniently located. A very short distance to the Château Frontenac and restaurants, etc. Olivier is a wonderful staff member and was very welcoming and efficient . The windows of the rooms open so you could get a breeze and the air conditioning worked wonderfully. The beds were very comfortable And housekeeping was appreciated every single day. More than sufficient supplies of towels and soaps, lotions, etc. A few free items in the refrigerated drawer, which was nice in a pinch. The cons were that although this is a historic property, it has been fully modernized in the interior in a rather dark modern concept. In fact, the interior design refers to itself as a hotel concept. There are advertising items for the lamps, pillows, etc. The original character of the hotel is gone. There are no Antiques. Some of the stone walls have been covered up. So if you’re looking at the older reviews, this new hotel interior is completely different. There are mobility/disability issues in that the entry stairs, as with many historic properties are extremely steep. In addition, the interior stairs are remarkably steep. There is only one room on the first floor room number 9 and the rest all required the climbing of the stairs, which take some care to negotiate. There is a Luggage elevator, but no elevator for actual people. The rooms have been redone with laminated modular units, which are unique, but form did not follow function in this location.
Former Park across the street is now undergoing extensive construction and restoration.

Will forever stay at this property when visiting Quebec City! The hotel is small and intimate. The decor was a vibe! The staff so friendly and accommodating! It was perfect from start to finish for a romantic weekend away!!! The wine dispenser and breakfast offering a nice touch! The bathroom scents make me wish I purchased some to take home! Yes, the bathroom narrow and sink tiny making it hard for cleansing/makeup but not a reason not to stay here. And yes the flights of stairs awakened my legs lol but totally worth it for the overall ambience and enjoyment.

Memorable stay in Quebec City

The property and staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable, clean, and the property very relaxing. The staff were very helpful and provided a sauvé continental breakfast every morning along with espresso 24 hours a day. The backyard was not quite open yet but it was beautiful. The location is ideal, easy to get to and from old village and all of the sights but also off the beaten path enough to be peaceful
