Arrived late, at first front desk, clerk seemed confused why I was there. Room was dark, I couldn’t find the light switch, and HVAC system was off, room was stuffy. In the morning with lights on, I noticed all the surfaces were quite dusty. The ceilings are not insulated, so sound travels. I was told at check-in, that breakfast was not included in my package, and I would need to pay $8-$9, which I was fine with. In the morning, when I mentioned the condition of the room the night before, the front desk clerk told me I didn’t need to pay breakfast, so I felt like it was a win — until I saw what the breakfast was. Absolutely pathetic compared to most chain hotel, continental breakfasts. Bags of bread with a few toasters, no hot food options; some cereal, slices of cheese, and hard boiled eggs left out on a messy counter. It’s 2025, this hotel claims to offer a VIP experience — they need to do better.
