“We told the host we would arrive after 6pm  in Nov and she was there greeting us as soon as we arrived. We liked the kitchen which got all the cooking wares but not sure if there is cooking oil or seasonings. The electric stove was slow to turn on. The host has provided the eggs, milk, tea bags, coffee and juice as well as bread in two sandwich boxes so we could prepare our breakfast. Everywhere in the house, kitchen and bathroom are clean. Laundry is free with washing powder.  We……

“Wonderful position with a view over the Derwent river. Squeezy parking and wouldnt cope with a large vehicle or a van. The road in would be difficult with a van and no area to turn around. No problems if youre just travelling in a car.”

The price was very reasonable, the location is great and convenient for accessing Hobart, Mount Field NP and other sights and experiences in the regiion. “Amazing place and outstanding service. The place is beautiful: elegant colonial building and the beautifully furnished rooms. We spent 4 nights at the spacious regatta suite. Breakfast was excellent and Denise was very kind - it was nice to dine together with the other guests and chat. The only downsides are that the place is located on a busy road across from a gas station. Yet, once you are inside you cannot hear that.”
