“We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others for sure. Easy to get in and out of town. Bath towels are EXTREMELY nice and soft! However, if I had one suggestion it would be to address the water valve and pressure situation. Both showers seemed to experience issues with not only the pressure of the water but also the ability, or inability, to maintain a constant temperature. It would go from EXTREMELY hot to EXTREMELY cold with no warning. But seriously, a great stay……

“Great location. True ski-in ski-out condo. Room are nice, staff is helpful. The restaurant is OK, not great. The bed was not that comfortable, but it was fine. The heater is radiant heating in the floor. As the signs tell you, it takes time for the temperature to change in the room. Don't believe the reviews that say the heater is broken, it works as advertised. ”

“Overall an enjoyable stay. Our group enjoyed the large kitchen, lounging by the fireplace, and working puzzles on the dining room table. Plenty of space for our group of 8 adults. Older, charming, traditional adobe with low ceilings (several head bumps for our 6'-2" folks). Some furnishings could use a bit of freshening up. As others have noted some sort of critters are periodically active above the ceilings. Baseboard heating lacks room by room control, so sleeping temperatures in bedrooms vary……

“We had a wonderful stay, great place for cooking dinner and the warm floors were my favorite. Great safe place close to everything, and the kitchen is a great size. We cooked Christmas dinner and felt just like at home. I will comeback to this place.”

“Brenda is a great host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is absolutely silent, which is good for the soul. We walked in the fresh snow to the edge of the gorge and it was beautiful. My only disappointment was that the fireplace in the suite is off limits due to some totally legitimate technical issues. Knowing that ahead of time wouldn't have made a difference except that I wouldn't have got my hopes up for a fire next to the bed. Arriving close to sunset while it was snowing meant……

“We loved our stay at Yellow Rose even though it wasn’t ski in ski out. It was close to the ski lifts and all who skied truly enjoyed it. The house could use a little updating and room heaters in the lower bedrooms, though. Furniture in living room was well worn and needed replacing. Overall was a great trip ”

“Great house for our family of four! Easy walk to the slopes and just about everything else. You can even see the winter torch parade on the slopes from the porch. Made for a wonderful ski trip!”
