“This property was well-maintained, and well-equipped. The host, Lori, was so helpful throughout our stay. She even dropped off a Christmas tree so that we could decorate for the holiday! The proximity to Red River, Taos, and Angel Fire makes this a great location for someone who wants easy access to multiple ski hills. If off-roading is your thing, you should check out the Cabresto Lake nearby via forest roads. Beautiful views, and very secluded. I would highly recommend this property!”

“We all flew in for a long weekend get together. Some skied, some went to galleries and shopped. Restaurants in the area were excellent from Tex-Mex, to fine dining to brew pub pizza. We all enjoyed being together at the Blue Elk Casa. Star gazing was really good from the upstairs outdoors patio. ”

“Really good overall stay. Somewhat dated and in need of repair, like the kitchen…dishwasher not attached, unusable microwave still installed. Listing says 6 people…do not see how 6 people could fit. Two bathrooms but master bath has ONLY a bathtub…no shower which is so strange. One television that has limited viewing for any kind of wifi tv service.
