“Great property. Quiet, quaint, and peaceful. My only recommendations for improvement would be to do a contactless check-in like Casa Lobo. This would save time for both the management/owners and any potential guests. Then people can just check-in with a special pinpad or lockbox. Especially since the doorbell is not working anyways. The Treehouse could also probably use some new blankets, pillows, and sheets as even after going through the laundry it still smelled like the prior guest. A couple……

“This stunning villa is undoubtedly one of the top three places we've ever stayed! We absolutely loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. Alejandro, Enrique, and Anika were outstanding hosts, going above and beyond to assist us with transportation to the lake. While the journey to Lake Atitlan can be challenging and dangerous, the mesmerizing view and the luxurious villa made the adventurous journey worth it. The villa was absolutely lovely! The view from the deck was simply breathtaking,……

“Brieuc and Kitara were amazing hosts and were attentive to all our needs. The property was extremely clean and the views were stunning and peaceful. I especially appreciate that there was an espresso machine, coffee maker, and even fresh coffee left for us. Very well organized transport to the hiking point; Nicholas, our tuk tuk driver, was very communicative and helpful. “The house is dirty, smells humid, dust everywhere, no hot water after 1 minute of shower, no a/c, everything is old and outdated, sheets and towels were stained, it’s in the middle of nowhere in the jungle. We found a scorpion in the bedroom. The only good thing is who manages de property, that service is amazing and will help you get everything organized and scheduled, but the actual property is not at all how it seems in the photos. I definitely do not recommend staying here or would stay……

“The hotel room was fine. Not at all like was shown in the pictures. Mold in the corners of the room. The bathroom window, which opened out on to a corridor wouldn't lock either. The shower was hot or cold and the room lacked basics like a full length mirror or anywhere to hang clothes. The room had a small private terrace (which was overlooked by someone's bathroom). On the final night, loud music was being played from 2am until 3am. The rooms were very clean. Staff were reasonably friendly……
