It was very clean and tranquil, exactly what was needed after getting away from a big city. The views of the many islands on the River Shannon were breathtaking. “Cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The house and surroundings are so relaxing and beautiful. There was plenty of room for 9 of us. I loved waking up to the sound of the cows in the pasture behind us and the birds on the lake. Only 15 minutes from the Shannon airport. Just a short drive to Newmarket on Furgus where there were several pubs, places to eat, and a grocery store. You definitely need a car because nothing is really within walking distance. But it was the perfect base……
