There is a nice fire pit area by a running creek which adds a great ambience. 5 mins away is food/ groceries. The owner did a great job in proactively reaching out with instructions and would quickly answer any question we had. We would definitely stay here again when we come to Spencer/ Bloomington. ”

“We stayed at this property over our Spring Break, and we found it to be cozy and exactly as listed. Sadly, we couldn’t get much hiking or fishing in due to the rain but the cabin was stocked with plenty of things to occupy the time. We loved the screened in porch, and we spent lots of time out there with our pup who came along. The small towns nearby offered some cute shops and food. ”

“Five sisters/sister-in-laws spent a week at Brian’s house. Brian is an excellent host and was very responsive to our needs. The house is big, private, and beautifully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are planning to return next year! Highly recommend!”

“Cute little house. Clean and comfortable. Only thing I’d note is where you stay is on 2nd floor, and the staircase is extremely steep, with short treads and some hand holds instead of railing and only on one side. Carrying gear up and down the staircase is sketchy. There is almost no cell service so I had to walk a ways down the drive to get a single bar in order to open the app and get my message with the code to open the front door of the house. I would recommend screen shotting the message……

“Property was okay, took long time to check in as staff was dealing with another customer's issue. Lot of Semi Trucks parked around and people smoking pot, drinking in the parking lot. Rooms were okay, you could smell that they had been smoked in previously but not dirty or run down. Staff did not make up bed as I had my Backpack on it and they are not allowed to move, but they used that as an excuse not to replenish coffee or even turn off the coffee pot which was accidently left on.
