Our reservation was messed up. Manager was never on site when needed, seems to work from 930 am to 4 pm. neatly avoiding integration with guests. Evening desk staff are great. Morning desk staff are downright surly.
They also have that awful pay-to-park system. You get nothing for your money, no cover, no security. no valet. We have decided not to stay in hotels that have that system.
Because of the reservation hassle, the surly staff, the absent manager, the stupid parking rip off, we left a day early and will no longer do business with Hampton Inns as a chain. Many other options are available.
