The hotel was clean and I was surprised that we received housekeeping on Saturday morning. That was really nice! Breakfast was only until 9am. Since we slept in, we missed breakfast. It would be nice if breakfast was served a little later on the weekend. When we returned from our day on Saturday, we could not get into our room. Our cards would not work. We went down to the front desk and rang the bell. We had to wait several minutes for someone to come back from outside. Once he was there, he asked when we were checking out. We told him the next day and he reactivated our cards. He never said thank you, sorry or anything. We just did not feel appreciated by the desk staff at all.

I reserved (and paid for) a room with two queen beds for 3 people. We were told they oversold the rooms. So they put us in a suite with a king bed and a pullout bed that was uncomfortable. My mother slept on a pull out bed with springs and it was uncomfortable. This was not the room I reserved.

Only stayed for one night. Bed and linens were comfy. Shower was new/nice but a lot of the furniture/decor was dated. Felt safe enough but obviously locked my car and my door. WiFi was good.

My stay was not pleasant at all. Check in was ok. The room we was assigned to had a very stale smell as if no one had stayed in that room for months. Tore up, outdated furniture, stains in the chairs, clock didn't work. I had to get someone to come and work the tv. Took him like 20-30 minutes to figure it out and reprogrammed it. Left, came back and found a roach in the middle of the floor. I went to the front desk and told the staff that he would have to put me in another room. I was not staying in that nasty room. I have pictures to show all of this. Front desk placed us in another room, which was much cleaner, but I still was not comfortable sleeping in the bed after what I've just experienced in the other room. Couch in the lobby is very dirty and stained. Some people experience may be fine but my first was not. Will be my last at Wingate/RDU Durham.

The staff was not receptive when I asked a question. Seemed like I was bothering them. I was in the lobby early in the morning and the phone in the lobby just kept ringing and the staff member was outside. The person cleaning the lobby mopping the floor around the breakfast bar did it right before 6am causing a safety risk

The hotel rooms need a severe refreshing. Dirty and torn furniture and carpet. No hot water. Breakfast service ended at least 45 min prior to end of breakfast hours. We went with no food as there was none.

The staff is friendly, the place is spotless, quiet area. This is my second stay in this hotel and coming back in August. The only thing is running out of breakfast before 9AM, while breakfast hours is 7 to 10. The pancake machine is always broken. Very small items to adjust for a perfect experience. Again, I love the team, the cleanliness and the place. Thank you!

Safety, location and it was quiet. The food was ok. The sausage was a little cold but eggs were good but tasted like powdered eggs. There were stains in the chairs in our room so honestly didn’t sit in them. Otherwise, it was clean and rest of the hotel was clean.
