“The house was in a convenient location on a dead end street. Accessible to wide variety of hiking spots and restaurants. The house was exactly as described & pictured with all the amenities you would expect. Fenced in back yard for our dog was helpful. Nicely furnished, two showers (one walk-in), kitchen had all we needed, filtered water, no steps inside. Just outside steps to porch for those that might need to know. “Everything about this listing was accurate. The home is spotless, beautifully decorated, and a short drive to all the must-see spots in NRG. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and make our birthday girl feel special upon arrival. We were blown away by the kindness. “This home is as advertised and appeared newly renovated. Was beautifully done and had all the necessities provided (shower products, toilet paper, roll of paper towels, dish detergent and sponges, laundry detergent, trash bags and some spices. Host is communicative. Home is 10 minutes from New River Gorge visitors center and 30 minutes from Summerville Lake. “We spent a long weekend here for my husbands birthday. The house was perfect! Loved the decor and the hot tub! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner! “What a find this place was! Loved the retro decor but with modern appliances and amenities. Very comfy beds and furniture, and lovely screened porch facing the woods. Mt. Hope is not much of a town but it’s located about halfway between the northern and southern ends of the NP which made for shorter drives in either direction to access trails. Both Beckley and Fayetteville are 15 minutes away where there are stores and restaurants for stocking up or eating meals out. This rental was such a great……

“The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because we could not get the hot tub to work while we were there. The host was very communicative and the house was very clean and had all of the amenities listed. The game room turned out to be a gem that we didn’t expect to utilize as much as we did. Would definitely recommend this rental! ”
