“Everything was perfect! David was a very welcoming host, even though we arrived after 9pm. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and spacious and very clean with bottled water and amenities. David laid on the nicest breakfast of warm croissants, warm bread, cheeses, jams, yoghurt and honey, and also supplied is plenty of milk and cocoa for hot chocolate. The cats and dogs at the property are adorable and all in all, it was a very relaxed overnight stay. Merci, David et Cecile.”

“It was perfect once we got in, as the code given didn’t seem to work. We got good help from your attendant on the phone though. I think it maybe wasn’t clear to me I had to use my first name only to login to the building?”

“Les chambres sont confortables (surtout le lit) et correctement équipées. Toute fois la déco peut ne pas plaire à toute le monte : mobilier noir, moquette noire, fresque au plafond. L'accès se fait sans difficulté via un code fourni le jour du début du séjour. L'escalier intérieur au pavillon est un peu raide, à déconseiller aux personnes qui ont des difficultés de mobilité.”

“Lovely young couple run the chateau and they do everything they can to make the stay perfect. We had dinner which was a fixed menu but really good quality. They gave us a choice of pastries for breakfast. Just a short journey from Calais. ”

“The room was a really good size with a large shower and a kitchenette. The parking was secure and the centre of town was walkable. I wasn't so happy about picking up the keys from a different location and then trying to find where we were staying with limited directions. A map would have been useful. The breakfast wasn't worth calling a breakfast but there is a nearby crockery that sells all the usual stuff.”

“I use this regularly in passing through. You can sometimes get a room in the Chateau for the price of the BW venue. The restaurants are very good. So is the bar.”

“Wow what a rare find. Firstly it’s magnificent and then we booked last minute and the hotel called us to find out what time we’d arrive (it was 10pm) and to ask if we’d like some food on arrival how about that. They were amazing. Got us a great meal to take to our room 10.30pm and arranged a dog bed and it was just totally first class. Advertised as 5 star and made it in every way. From the team on the front desk, to the chef and the overnight team as we had to leave at 6am to continue our……
