Used the Farmhouse as base camp for a wedding nearby. We catered in the Rehearsal Dinner & Day After Brunch and between the picnic area and red barn entertained two events of 40-50 people with plenty of room to spare. Carissa, the owner, was always one text away when we needed anything and was very helpful over our five day stay.

Family gathering with adult children and spouses. We enjoyed the hot tub, the barn which was full of games, nice kitchen to cook in and space for all of us. Easy and quick communication with the property manager.

I can’t quite find the right words to describe how happy my family and I were with this property. The views are absolutely breathtaking and the property was amazing. My family always looks for unique properties while traveling and this one is at the top of our list! The animals are perfect entertainment for the kids. They stayed outside and watched them and fed them for hours. The game barn was EVERYTHING they needed to keep them entertained during our stay. It was filled with every game you could imagine. There was also a pretzel and popcorn machine, mini fridge sound system, microwave and piano amongst the games. The house itself was perfect for our large group of 13 traveling from across the country. After the 5 hour plane ride it was the perfect place to unwind. It was also equipped with everything we needed to make this the perfect home away from home. Carissa was also extremely attentive and responsive when we had questions and made sure to follow up to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.

Had plenty of things to entertain everyone on site, which was great since getting a large group mobilized is tricky. Fun activities nearby as well if you want to get off the property. Very responsive and helpful during the stay.

There were 11 of us that traveled from all around the Country to get together. We have very rare and special kiddos and we needed to relax and support one another. This property was relaxing, fun, clean, and perfect for our gathering. We appreciated the owner so much. Everything was perfect. Our family stayed at the Red Barn while we were in town for a wedding. The house was perfect for us! The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms were all comfortable. The game room was a big hit and everyone enjoyed the pool. Karissa was amazing and always responded within minutes. Cannot wait to come back!!!

We had a family gathering in this idyllic spot. The property is first rate, clean, comfortable and spacious. There is something for everyone - pool, hot tub, quiet space and an enormous renovated barn with video games, electronic darts, stereo system, pool table, shuffleboard table and a giant projection TV. The home is warm and conducive to family meals and time together with a lovely front porch, back patio and outdoor eating area with multiple sold wood picnic tables as well. Read, relax, cook and visit local vineyards and great hiking trails. Carissa is an amazing host who is responsive to any questions you have. Ramona is just a 5 minute drive away. We loved our stay here.

We stayed at the Ranch as a family (13 people with ages from 4 to 77). It was PERFECT for our group. Lots of room to roam. The pool was perfect for some cool fun during our summertime stay. The house was clean and more than enough room for us all to sleep, eat and just relax. Communication with host was quick, easy and very helpful. Five stars all around!!

This large home in rural Ramona was terrific for our extended family vacation bringing travelers from the west coast and east coast together to visit Grandma and Grandpa in nearby Escondido. The family room, dining room and kitchen are green great gathering areas. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool area was perfect for relaxing and lots of time for talking.

We all enjoyed the Red Barn Ranch very much! Carissa was very easy to communicate with and check-in was a breeze. Our family of 12 had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the peace and solitude of this beautiful home. The pool was a huge plus, which was enjoyed by all. The grandkids loved playing all the games in the barn, feeding the ducks and just exploring! Smores at the fire pit was a big hit as well! Thank you Carissa!

We had an absolutely wonderful time tucked away on the Red Barn Ranch. The space went above and beyond to accommodate everyone in our party — lots of space to explore for both the adults and the kids. Our hosts were extremely easy to communicate with, taking the time to offer up a tour of their chicken coop and help us book a private chef experience. There’s lots to check out nearby and a perfect oasis at your fingertips if you want to simply relax on the spacious property. Would highly recommend for any family looking to have a special getaway together!

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful Red Barn Farmhouse! It was so comfortable with so much room for all of our party. We loved all the decorations especially the suitcase end table in the living room. Being able to watch the chickens and ducks every day was a ton of fun with our grandkids! Beautiful property! Excited to finally be able to get together responsibly, my husband and I hosted our families (16 people total) at the Red Barn Ranch. The property is beautiful, rustic yet full of plenty of comforts. All the outdoor space is great, with more games than you'll even have time for. The hosts are attentive and considerate. Highly recommend!

We booked this sweet farmhouse for my daughter's sixth birthday. She and her cousins had a blast exploring their beautiful surroundings, collecting eggs from the chicken coop (!), climbing play structures and swimming in the pool. The house itself was immaculate, kitchen well appointed, and there was plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 children. You will not be disappointed in this beautiful farmhouse! The SD zoo is about a 35 minute drive away, easily doable for one of our days. Carissa also referred us to her private chef who cooked such an amazing meal for the group one night. Thank you Carissa for being such a wonderful host. It was a memorable trip to say the least :) And a welcome respite from city life during covid!

The house, the location and the host far exceeded our expectations for our weekend getaway at the farm! Carissa went above and beyond with special touches to make my husband‘s 50th birthday celebration just perfect and relaxing. She was accommodating to us and our dogs and we thoroughly enjoyed the Fresh eggs in the morning from their adorable chicken coop! Fun for all ages -teenagers ,younger kids and adults ,love the Jacuzzi looking at the stars at night and fun exploring the neighborhood hikes. Can’t wait to return in warmer months to use the beautiful swimming pool!

We stayed at Red Barn Ranch from 12/30 to 1/2 , we wanted to celebrate the New Year away from home. We had a fantastic time. What an amazing place. Everything was perfect from check in to check out… The house is decorated beautifully and well equipped with everything we needed and more. Owners were wonderful and welcomed us with a bottle of champagne. Pictures don’t do justice, the experience is so much more than what we expected. We will definitely be back & I highly recommend Red Barn Ranch for a wonderful/relaxing gateway. Thank you Carissa!

Everything from check in to check out was a breeze. A very welcoming host, with a beautifully decorated farm house made our small family reunion a big success. Beds were comfortable and the area was so peaceful. We all had a good night sleep and absolutely relaxing stay. Kitchen was well equipped that we did not have problem preparing our gourmet meals. The place was exactly what the owners described and pleasantly more than what we expected. Will be back for sure!

Carissa’s property is amazing – stunning mountain views, great outdoor areas for grilling and lounging...even better than the photos could capture! Even with our big family the beautiful house felt spacious and everyone was comfortable. Carissa herself is an amazing host, responded quickly to any questions and gave us great advice on hiking trails and nearby wineries. We spent the days hiking and exploring and then relaxed back at the house in the evenings...the whole place made us feel at ease. You can tell that Carissa put a lot of effort into creating an inviting, restful place. For the price, this beautiful home can't be beat. Next time my husband and I will come back with a few couples instead of the kids!
