“This place is lovely. It is part of the Alexander’s lodge, just 1 mile away from Ashfords’s Mt. Rainier National Park entrance. A perfect location, if you want to explore the park. We enjoyed learning about the history of the lodge from the info material in the cabin. The only trouble we had was finding the place, as the Vrbo listing didn’t have a house number and it was impossible to communicate with the owners as we were searching along the road in Ashford (no reception). “Went with a couple friends for a guys week of fishing on the Cowlitz River. This property is very easy to find but also very private and beautiful. We were greeted by the owner and shown to an awesome a-frame cabin in the woods. Room for all 3 of us to enjoy our own rooms. A great place to relax after the days fishing and sightseeing fun. All the comforts of home. Check in and out were very easy. Great location. Would definitely recommend this property and will look forward to our next stay!”
