“Recent hotel renovations have improved an already wonderful hotel. The hosts are polite, kind and knowledgable. I would highly recommend staying!”

“Check in is fairly easy as a named envelope with a key was left near the front door. Overall cleanliness is more than acceptable. Bathroom is shared but it is no different from a private one. It is probably not busy that night. We had the whole kitchen for us. It is good value for what we paid.”

“The Hela cabin was a wonderful stay for 3 people, it was charming and cozy. There were also horses living on the other side of the fence, we had a joy feeding and petting them! The location was also a plus, far enough from town to enjoy the stars and country atmosphere, but near enough for a short drive for meals and groceries (~10 mins).”

“Excellent service, staff accommodating of our dietary requirements (Vegetarian). We were also greeted by the owner Frideric - very friendly and very involved. His active involvement also motivates the staff it appears. Well appointed rooms. The only issue was with design of the bathrooms - our room had a large tub with a shower but no shower curtains so water would spray out everywhere. We will definitely go back here. Conveniently located. We highly recommend this hotel. ”

“It's away from the city but easy to reach. The room is pretty big and everything is comfortable. We visited the stable the day after we checked out. what a fun experience with the Icelandic horses. and the breakfast is nice BTW.”

“We enjoyed this property for our 2 night stay. The rental unit looks brand new and is furnished very well. It was probably the largest and nicest rental units we stayed in for our entire two week trip. It was nice to have the space! The only downside to this property is that it was out in the country, away from everything. So grab what you need before retiring for the evening. We were slightly disappointed that our cabin rental was in the middle of the other rentals, so we really didn’t have a……
