“My family stayed here for two nights. This location is just around the corner from the caves, but is secluded. An excellent place to stay to avoid the crowds. The hostess responds fairly quickly to questions. I highly recommend going on the farm tour if you can - the tour is usually included for people staying at one of the hostess's properties, and includes the opportunity to meet sheep, cows, goats, alpacas, emus, and ostriches. “This is a special, one of a kind place. Nestled among a sheep farm and a river. Turkeys come by in the morning. Cows are watching all day. You feel complete privacy and have a stellar view to the beautiful surroundings as 2 walls are completely windows. Think of it as a magical camping experience with a luxury bed and shower. Every little special touch just adds to the charm. There is no dishwasher or oven, hence the camping feel. Plan to barbecue and make simple one pot meals and you will be in……

“This was one of our favourite stays in New Zealand. The view of the surrounding farms, treed hills, and mountains was stunning. The host supplied a basket of goods to make breakfast, which was lovely. We fell in love with Frankie, their farm cat, and enjoyed cuddles on the deck with her and her kittens. Beautiful citrus trees and landscaped areas created privacy from the farm and host. It was close to town and local sites.”
