“I’ll start with the good: -The host was kind and sent the pin early. -They communicated to make sure we got in okay Cons: -The first jarring thing for my family was that the drive from the border to the property took us through a rundown town that had so many closed down shops and boarded up houses. So Eerie! - The house is on the same lot as an abandoned, boarded up church which caught us off guard - We went through the side entrance thinking it was the one we were supposed to use to……

“We had no heat due to a broken furnace in December-the owner did bring a space heater, but that blew a fuse, not a relaxing time. We had a group of seven, so we could not find another place to stay short notice. We also found old coffee left in the coffee pot. The location itself was nice and the lake was beautiful!”

“The yurt is ideally located. We went to the riviera for a show. It was a 5 min drive. We went to an event at keybank center, a 20 min drive. The park across the street sits right on the river and only a 5 min walk. A few min to the grocery store. I was initially looking for a nice hotel but found the yurt. It didnt cost anymore than a hotel. The neighborhood felt safe as we were out late. The host responded promptly to questions. We would stay again.”
