Completely renovated historic home with all modern and state of art features and appliances. This 3 Bedroom 2 1/2 Bath has over 2000 square feet of living space and is located in the heart of downtown located less than a 5-minute walk to restaurants, shopping, coffee shops and the Rapid City Bike path. Convenient access to Interstate 90, Rapid City transit system and close to the hospital. The main level features all stainless-steel appliances! The open layout offers a state-of-the-art kitchen open to the living room, dining room and foyer with a convenient half bath. The upper floor has 3 beautiful bedrooms with 2 gorgeous bathrooms and laundry in the hall. The master bedroom offers a king bed with an on-suite that features a custom shower, double sink vanity and a walk-in-closet. Bedrooms 2 and 3 offer queen beds with a guest bath to share. This Historic Home was taken down to the studs and no expense was spared. Central Air, new furnace, new water heater, new flooring and new windows. You will not be disappointed! This place is spectacular!!!

We loved this house! The location was great for walking to downtown Rapid City! The rooms were all very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again! It was wonderful to have a large, updated kitchen to host Thanksgiving in with my grandfather, mother, husband and children.

The house was very clean and beautiful. I love the old house new remodel! The furnishing were very nice and the kitchen was well supplied. There is a lot of street noise for the bedrooms on that side of the house and we had some trouble with people parking where we were supposed to. All and all a very nice home and great location to memorial park.

Family Wedding in Rapid City

We were very happy with our stay. The property was in great condition and was just like the online photos. We were in town for a family wedding and some sightseeing and the location was very convenient to the church (a happy coincidence) and to restaurants, as well as the nearby tourist sites. We had a great time sitting outside in the sun one afternoon on the comfortable outdoor sofa. My sister will be returning to Rapid City to visit her daughter (the bride) and has already said this is where she wants to stay on those visits because the house was so nice.

Feels like home!

We rented this house as a place to relax after a full week of biking on the Mickelson Trail and hiking in the Black Hills. We wanted to kick back in a comfortable place close to the amenities Rapid City has to offer. It exceeded our expectations on every count. Clean, spacious, very beautifully decorated, great outdoor living room and great proximity to restaurants and shops. The owners are responsive and fun to meet. We absolutely loved this place !

Well maintained & beautifully decorated home.

This was one of the nicest vacation rental properties we’ve ever stayed at. The home was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the owner provided ample paper products. The location was a great home base for our SD sightseeing. The only drawback is that it is on a busy road and the traffic can be a bit noisy. But we loved that we could walk to the downtown restaurants and shops. We loved the modern kitchen with the huge island and built-in coffee maker. The patio was also fantastic for relaxing with a book under the beautiful shade tree surrounded by a privacy fence.

Charming Home

Property manager was extremely accommodating. She was readily available. Property is in a fantastic location. You are able to enjoy the downtown area of Rapid City (great restaurants) and are a short drive to key attractions. Highly recommend this property!

Comfy & Convenient

There were 6 of us ranging in age from 16 to 82 and we had a great time, plenty of room to spread out. Only downside is if you are a light sleeper, it is on a major roadway and near train tracks. We easily traveled the Black Hills area, Deadwood, Custer, Rushmore, Hill City, Keystone and Badlands areas from this location.

Great place within walking distance to downtown.

Great house that was everything it was advertised to be. Clean, newly remodeled and located right next to downtown so we could walk to the restaurants and the Monument, where we attended a concert. Would recommend.

Lovely Stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the “purple house” in the heart of Rapid City! The property has been fully remodeled and was true to the pictures. We really liked having the washer/dryer on the second story next to the bedrooms. The built-in coffee maker was also a huge plus! The property owner/manager was super nice and accommodating as well! This was definitely one of the best VRBOs I’ve encountered so far and will stay again on our next trip to the area!
