“Gardenstown is a sweet little village on the coast about one hour north of Aberdeen. The house is located perfectly with an amazing view to the ocean directly out of the kitchen window. It is newly renovated. Everything is in perfect working order. Car can be parked in front of the house. Andreas, our landlord, is a super friendly and relaxed person and gave us both, helpful hints for visits in the area as well as e.g. a gas grill to prepare out freshly self-caught North Sea fish. “This was my first holiday in four years due to ill health and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. It was so relaxing and sitting on the patio listening to and watching the various birds was so therapeutic. The epitome of mindfulness. I even heard my first Cuckoo that wasn't on the telly!The cottage itself was exactly as described by Anthony and Carrie. Everything was there that I needed. Well laid out accommodation and the bed was so comfy. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway……

“Been here now for 6 years over Christmas and new year. We love the peace and quiet and access to lovely walks with the dog. The house is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all and is equipped with everything you need. Although remote, Ellon is only 10 mins drive and Aberdeen just 30 mins so perfect if you want to get out. Highly recommended”

( a aucun moment nous n’avons ete informer de ca !!!) Logement sentant le renfermé , tres exigu , pas pratique pour les repas , sdb minuscule et pas pratique , je deconseille ou alors pour la moitie du tarif”

“An excellent glamping site with a chilled atmosphere and lovely landscape. We stayed in the Wheelhouse which is perfect for 2. It was rustic with nice basic facilities. The wee on site shop had ample supplies (bring cash for it). The area was lovely to walk around and we enjoyed the fishing hut community hub. We enjoyed our stay and loved the quirky site. Would definitely come back. ”

“A good start for a recent refurbishment. No doubt seating for the sun room and outside furniture will be available in due course which will certainly enhance the property. Garden furniture would improve residents stay given the beautiful surroundings. Lack of storage upstairs and sufficient seating and crockery we feel is not adequate for 8 people. We felt it was a lovely property more suited to perhaps 6 people than 8. We had a lovely stay.”
