“I have stayed here multiple times on road trips from Alberta to Texas, it is always clean and quiet with a throwback charm. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The showers are hot and the beds comfortable which is what one wants after a long day on the road. I would definitely recommend and I will be staying here again on future trips through Raton.”

“Fantastic alternative to cookie cutter hotels. Great a small glimpse behind the curtains of how the wealthy lived over 100 years ago. Beautiful three story house with lots of room to stretch out, and a great host who makes you feel very welcome. ”

“The restaurant is unbelievable! The dinner was one of the best I've ever had! No kidding. The breakfast was great but I chose a relatively standard option of eggs bacon and hash browns with tost. It was very good but not exceptional like the dinner but that is my fault for ordering a standard breakfast. The room was extremely clean. Spotless! The design is a bit old but they did their best to make it very comfortable! Just what I needed for an overnight stay.”
