“Lovely cottage and much nicer than the photos show. Quiet location. We didn't have a car and were able to travel to and from the cottage by bus from Rovaniemi but note that this does mean carrying all your food with you as there are no shops nearby. Well equipped cottage and a fantastic wood burning sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“Wir waren zum 2.mal in Finnland. Uns gefällt in erster Linie die Ruhe, die man hier genießen kann. Das Haus ist unweit einer Fernstraße gelegen. Zum Fluß sind es nur wenige Meter. Dieser war fast zugefroren. Im Haus ist eine Klimaanlage sowie Kamin vorhanden. Auch in der hauseigenen Sauna kann man entspannen. Diese wird auch mit Holz beheizt, welches vom Vermieter zur verfügung gestellt wird. Es sind Küchengeräte wie Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Herd, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank vorhanden.……

“The cabin was just right for me and my wife enjoying our honeymoon in Lapland. It’s cosy, well equipped and the living area was very comfortable. The only thing that let it down a bit were the pillows, they were small and very firm. Aside from that it was great. The pictures of the cabin on the advert don’t really do it justice, and it certainly exceeded our expectations when we went into it.”

“Villa Aihki is really wonderfull. It is very cosy with the sauna and fireplace that can be used any time. The light around and in the house is done very nice so it feels very warm and comfortable. Even the birds come to feed on the terrace :) The bed is very good, pillows as well. The seating in the living room is very comfy too. The area is very quiet and feels safe. “We stayed in the family room with a sauna. It has a small kitchen as well. The shower leaked a bit but otherwise room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection. There were sleds around the property which guests could use. Close to a lit hiking trail around a lake and small ski resort. We skied at Pyha about 25 min away and saw the northern lights on our drive home late at night. Our family loved staying here. ”
