“This property was great! It allowed for my entire family (3 generations) and our dog to come together and stay in the area for the funeral of our mom/grandma/great grandma. It was really nice that the home catered to all of the generations and allowed us to be together to console each other and share memories/laughs. The home was gorgeous clean comfy and convenient. We walked to a great coffee shop together each morning, had snores out by the fire pit and were close to the funeral home and grave……

“A very cool place to stay. Not like any house, cabin, or cottage than a soda factory, completely renovated with the industrial look. That being said it was dark with all the gray. I liked how updated and fresh everything was, the new powerful appliances, and soft comfy beds. Except for the couches, which were old, and smelled like wet dog. At night it sounded like a cat was meowing, and a dog barked every so often. I didn't like looking out the window and seeing a trailer park. We did like how……

“Our stay was comfortable and spacious for our family of 6 and dog. Home was clean and supplied well. Game room a bonus! Parking available. Walking distance to main road with shops and restaurants. J&S pizza’s sweet sauce was yum! There is a nice small fenced backyard and front porch with rocking chairs too! It is in a college area. Close to Hershey and Lancaster which were places we enjoyed. ”

“Family was in town for a funeral. It was just what we needed for a place to stay overnight/for the weekend.”

“Check in was a breeze. House was clean and rooms were exactly as pictured. My only suggestion for improvement would be to leave the door to the upstairs loft open. We had a hard time finding the last bedroom and bathroom!”

“Three generations stayed at Sweet Retreat for a little getaway. Our plans did not go as planned but no worries, Sweet Retreat made up for it! Super comfy beds, a nice sizzled kitchen (the second fridge was great to have). The backyard was our own little oasis. We would have spent more time there if it rained less. Super easy communication with the owner. Will definitely consider staying again. ”

“It was just a bit more than getting a hotel for our trip but the extra cost allowed us (my wife and our 2 children) to have our own rooms and space to spread out. The house was just right and nesteled in a quiet little spot. It was just what we needed, it was clean, and the house manager was very responsive. ”

“It was lovely and peaceful. It wasn't a high class, high tech rental but it had high quality appliances and amenities. The price was cheap and the house fit what we wanted perfectly for a 3 day getaway. Cute, quiet, peaceful, and cozy. It was cold, probably under 30 the entire stay. We enjoyed the hot tub many times. We will definitely return this summer to enjoy the pool and pond. ”
