“We made a mistake in timing and ended up getting to the property late-- it's a little hard to find in the dark, and we apparently aren't good with electronic locks. But the host answered our phone call immediately, was super easy to communicate with, and once we figured that all out, we loved the cabin. “Wife and I loved our stay. Well appointed, great views, with all the comforts of home. Highly recommend.Recommend you come in during daylight hours as it is a mountain top home. Roads are winding and its very dark. Also recommend that you have a pickup, suv or car with a higher ground clearance as driveway is not paved and drops off at road. Be sure to load up on groceries coming in as it is a drive from town.Great get away with an amazing view.”

“We had a nice relaxing time at the Shandy Pine. Everything we needed to cook and grill was there. We wanted to kayak but the dock was damaged by recent flooding, and the other dock was kind of a haul, so we decided to rent a boat from a marina on the lake instead. We Definitely recommend that! The hot tub was also a great alternative. The kids and adults loved the game room! There were so many tiny details that made us feel right at home! Thank you for sharing your little slice of peace……
