“This is a nice spot. Convenient location. Only a few miles from Wimberley. The bed was not very comfortable. It would have been nice for there to be firewood for the outdoor pit and the fireplace. Especially in winter with how cold it has been lately. ”

“What a great location for our family home base for my daughter’s wedding in Cibolo. Had everything we needed. Lots of space for our family. Nice yard area for the kids and dogs. Beautiful home!”

“The property was as advertized. It was very spacious and with many rooms to accommodate our family. Our host was very informative, and prompt to answer any questions we had. The kitchen was filled with pots, pans and utensils for all our cooking needs.The main family rooms had plenty of updated seating where we played many games and enjoyed the billiards table, which i would consider an upgrade or repairs. Unfortunately there is no first floor bathroom, but the elevator was very helpful to gain……

“We had 11 adults and 11 children ages 3 - 15. This property allow for all families to have their own space when needed but a wonderful area outside for us to be together. The kids never complained that they were bored because there was so much space with lots to do. The basketball court was probably the biggest hit. Horseshoes, disc golf and pool was also used often. We had s’mores every night using the Firepit. Thankful for all the heaters on the property as we had cold weather that wasn’t……

“Driftwood Retreat and Ranch was exactly as advertised and our big family very much enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. The property has an "out in the country" feel even though it is only a half-hour or so outside of Austin. The separate buildings offered privacy for family units of varying sizes. The owner (Kristin) lives a short distance away in Austin and is readily accessible via text or email. She was one of the most responsive hosts we have ever experienced. The weather was cold so we……

“The apartment was great. Nice and clean with much more room than a hotel. The complex was quiet, and there were stores and restaurants in the area. It was a third floor apartment though with no elevator so if you cannot climb the you may want to reach out to see if they have a ground floor unit.”

“This place was paradise to us. We wanted a cousin couples getaway without our children and this property did not disappoint. We enjoyed ourselves so much we decided not to go into town until check out. The property is peaceful with a beautiful mountain view, lawn and there was even a garden.
