A Stay to Forget: An Unpleasant Experience at Seven Oaks Hotel
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the Seven Oaks Hotel fell far short of expectations. The advertised images create a false impression, as the reality is a far cry from what is depicted. The room was not only in poor condition but also carried a musty odor that was immediately off-putting. The lack of air conditioning compounded the discomfort, especially with the excessive heat emanating from the hallways, and the absence of windows only added to the feeling of confinement.
Despite multiple requests, housekeeping services were consistently absent, leading to further dissatisfaction. The pool area, often a highlight for hotel guests, was marred by the behavior of an unaccommodating and impolite staff member. The front desk staff mirrored this lack of hospitality, adhering rigidly to policies while failing to address the concerns of guests. It's clear that the hotel is run down and in need of serious refurbishment.
The pool area itself was a source of frustration, with an excessively hot jacuzzi and a water slide that was far from enjoyable due to overly strict rules. Furthermore, the discriminatory treatment of my child, who was made to feel uncomfortable and embarrassed for wearing a t-shirt in the pool due to their gender identity, is simply unacceptable.
