Room key disabled multiple times. Was charged for a partial stay after letting the front desk know at 12pm that I would be leaving. If I were only charged for one hour, that would be one thing- but that wasn’t the case.
I got locked out of my room because my room key deactivated multiple times. The third time, I had to call the front desk to get someone to help me get another key because everyone was elsewhere. I don’t usually write reviews but being charged for a partial stay after being locked out of my room while trying to leave- finding nobody at the front desk and actually having to call to find somebody to help me and still being charged for a partial stay? I work in hospitality. If my guests are left, waiting for me, I find ways to accommodate them. I’ve never experienced anything like this before, and I was surprised. I understand that some room keys automatically deactivate if they’re placed next to electronic devices. If you’re going to charge somebody more than $50 a night I’ll-perhaps invest in upgrades the room keys, so that they refrain from locking the guests out while they’re trying to leave the establishment. This would be a great convenience to any guest- not wanting to be left at the front desk charged for a partial stay locked out of their room with nobody to help them.
