“We did not realise when we booked that no toilet paper could be flushed ( septic tank) Apparently this is quite common in Sicily. We had to empty all used toilet paper into the organic waste bin outside. The owners lived next door and were on hand for any issues. The access road to the property was very narrow but fairly short, a small car would be preferred for access reasons. The WIFI was not adequate for us to stream a film. ”

“Das Haus liegt ruhig in den Bergen mit Blick auf Syrakus, das Meer und im Norden den Ätna. Auch im Pool bietet sich einem dieser wunderschöne Blick.Wie vereinbart trafen wir uns und wurden zum Haus begleitet. Das ist sehr angenehm, denn man muss doch einige Kilometer eine kleine Straße bergauf.Die Vermieter waren ausgesprochen herzlich und sehr unkompliziert. wir bekamen oft ganz frisch gelegte Eier, von den Hühnern, die am Ende des Grundstücks gehalten werden, geschenkt.Ein herrliches……

“We stayed 4 nights at Salvatore's garden house. Salvatore was very solicitous and kind. We arrived in Noto by rental car on a dark and stormy night after a long drive. We had a very difficult time finding the house as my phone with the information had run out of battery. It was only the kindness of a local that led us to the house. Salvatore was waiting for us and greeted us with warmth. The house is spacious and fully equipped. We were a bit cold as the weather in February was chilly and……

“Das Anwesen ist wunderschön, das Haus recht klein, aber die Anlage mit mehreren Terrassen und den tollen Pflanzen total beeindruckend. Der Zuweg ist eng, aber die Lage insgesamt prima. Sebastiano war oft da, um Tipps zu geben und zu fragen, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Netter Typ! Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen dort verlebt.”

“Unfortunately our trip didn't go as planned as our son was ill but Isabella and Corrado were so kind and did everything possible to help. They are lovely people and wonderful hosts. The villa itself is lovely, especially the outside area, and the surroundings are stunning. You definitely need a car but the isolation means peace and quiet and great views. Unfortunately we didn't get to explore the area so hopefully we can return one day.”

“I had been looking at several villas in the area, but when I saw this one, I knew it was the one I wanted, however in the Vrbo brochure it says it is a short walk to the church, but it is a 15 minute drive, apart from that it looked good. On arrival I was greeted by Salvo who was lovely, his English was not great, but I am trying to learn Italian so it was good practice for me. The villa was even better than it looked. A good size pool along with excellent accommodation, and plenty of Bathrooms……

“Wir waren im Oktober hier und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sowohl für Paare als auch für Familien geeignet. Das Grundstück ist abgeschlossen und der Garten sowie die große Veranda laden zum Verweilen ein. ”

“Petite villa simple et charmante a 5 min d une plage aux eaux limpides. Jardin tropical tres bien entretenu. Proprietaire tres accueillant. Location tres propre et fonctionnelle. Je recommande !”

“The property inside was as listed. More out door seating areas than expected surrounded by lemon trees. Pool was lovely to relax around. The owner was very helpful. Due to out late flight had got in some food for us. ”

“The villa is very nice, we especially loved the garden and the swimming pool. There was 8 of us, 4 adults and 4 children and the villa was right size for us. The car is a must as nearest restaurants are little far away (lot of choices within 10 minutes drive).”
