“Place appears newly renovated, with fairly good quality materials and large rooms. Location is close to the town core - about a 10-15 minute walk. Immediate area is of older less well kept buildings and perhaps these will also participate in restoration over time - we did not feel uncomfortable walking the area, but did experience street noise, particularly the front bedroom and living room. Parking lot about 50m away for 1 Euro per 24 hours that was convenient vs street parking. Ad posting……

“The apartment is nice and had everything needed for a comfortable stay but is very bare bones. It has a partially obstructed view of the harbor from the terrace and main room. The bathroom is very small. It is well located to explore the city on foot and easy to the main road for exploring the island. There are stairs and the lift takes you up but there are still 4 stairs if you have limited mobility or large suitcases this could be an issue. The parking is very tight in the garage, very tight.……

“Our visit to Ponta Delgada was very memorable. Pedro met us at the house for check in and his communication was excellent. Pedro surprised us by providing several cold waters, local fruits, beer, wine and juices and snacks for the kids. This was a great surprise especially as we had a day and night of travel. “The house was well situated and has lots of potential. Our host Claudio was polite, quick to respond, and very helpful. The rooms are a good size, and the house has a good layout. Unfortunately, the beds and pillows were very hard and quite uncomfortable. The outdoor furniture is in need of replacing, the BBQ is rusty and new interior paint would be a good improvement as there is water damage in places and signs of mold in the bathroom and elsewhere. The pictures in the listing are outdated as……
