Gross Bathroom, Unsafe Area and Uncaring Host
The place has the feel of a college house and is a very poor value compared to other places on VRBO. I experienced a lot of misrepresentation, health (mold) and safety issues.Over two days I experienced all these issues (not pictured in host's photos):* Had to park 0.5 mile away next to car on blocks due to Rodeo taking all street parking every night (wasn't informed)* Heavy mold on shower curtain, many dark mold spots on shower ceiling* Over a dozen 4-5 inch gashes in shower wall* Can see basement through holes in kitchen floor and hammer sized holes in wall in closet* Dirty surfaces, old food, rust, random stuff everywhere, sauce stains on kitchen curtain* Poor quality appliances, kitchen / dinning materialsThis was enough and lacking for a 200/night property, then an unknown man repeatedly knocked on the door at 11:30pm (when my vehicle was 0.5 miles away) looking in through the front door window (no curtains). Upon confrontation through door, he walked away with no explanation.I don't typically get sketched out, but the surrounding blocks are not the most comfy to walk around.I moved out the next day because I felt my personal/work equipment could get stolen and I felt unsafe. The host refused to issue a refund and did a whole run-around of "I don't know what you are talking about?", "how do I know you left?" until 11 day stay was up. Would not recommend for solo female traveler.P.S. There was one roll of toilet paper and no trash bags upon arrival.
