“We loved the house and that it is located on a working farm no more than 30 minutes away from all the Mammoth Cave hot spots and even closer to Bowling Green attractions. Enjoyed the rural atmosphere, the pool, and watching the cows play. Would definitely stay here again! ”

“This private oasis was the perfect location as a quiet, comfortable landing zone for our time in Springfield. We enjoyed the comfortable bed, the outdoor living space and the fire pit. Hosts were informative, communicative and allowed us space and privacy. The only regret is not catching the sunset from the beautiful location. “Property owners were amazing and very helpful. Replied to any questions very quickly. The cabin was fabulous. So many things to do. Hot tub, games, tvs, kayaks, trails, river, scavenger hunt. The owners have thought of everything! I would definitely recommend this place over and over again. ”

“Loved being right in the trees, with a peek of the James River down below. Visually it does feel secluded. However, the highway noise is always present, so you're aware that you're not actually "away from it all."Additionally, if the venue up the hill is hosting an event you will hear all of their music, the emcee, etc. Wasn't really a problem for us, but others might prefer complete quiet and only nature sounds.The room was great, the bed was incredibly comfortable. “Wonderful "home" to come back to after visiting, sightseeing, hunting. Clean, comfortable, quiet, no traffic noise! Everything needed for cooking, just bring food! The cabin was so much nicer than staying in a hotel room, relaxing and at-home feeling. Spacious living area and bedroom.”

“The property was clean and was updated.The house manager was more than accommodating. Your deck view is a delight with the sound of the river. The town had a great diner. Our plans got changed due to levels of river but it was location of the property gave us options.Definitely stay again.”

“Fantastic location, beautiful new cabin. Loved the deck. However, loads of poison ivy and overgrown grass and weeds around the cabin prevented us from enjoying the walking path or river access. ”

“This was our second time staying at the “Kitschy Kottage”. We absolutely love it! Clean, cute and comfortable! I especially love being able to relax in the huge yard by the fire pit and swing. ”

“Cute single bedroom cabin with full kitchen and nicely furnished. Close to river, but not readily accessible. Laundry facilities weren’t operable during our stay and it would have been beneficial to know that prior to our stay. Enjoy the massive deck that is shared between 4 cabins. Also has picnic tables and fire pits for each cabin. Recommend the outstanding breakfast options at the Farmer’s Daughter in town.”
