“My husband and I came to Crescent City to visit the redwood forest. The location of this property was a perfect distance from Jedidiah Smith state park and parks south of Crescent City. The property was a bit rough on the outside but inside was brand new and spotless. Neighborhood was quiet and safe and close to many restaurants, visitors center and beaches. “Minutes walk from the beach” in the listing was misleading- it is a 25 minute walk to a nearby beach. “If you like to be off the grid, this is a great place to stay. We do this once a year and completely unplug from phones, computers, etc. This place was perfect for exactly that. It's remote and there's nothing better than the sound of a river. We had a total of 4 adults, 3 kids, and our 2 labs. Everyone had a wonderful time. It's a little bit of a walk to the river but once there, it's secluded and water is crystal clear. Thank you, Jim, for allowing us to stay at your place. ”
