“If we could give this 10 stars we would!! This cabin is our fav in the Hayward area. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The lake absolutely spoiled us and we didn’t want to come home. The home is immaculate and the hosts were very helpful and responsive. We even booked a day longer last minute. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully stay in the exact same spot!!”

“Incredible place to stay for a cozy weekend full of snow activities with our family. Beautiful cabin and fully furnished kitchen with everything we needed for meals in, cards/board games (for all ages) to help unplug and incredible views of the lake! Great communication from host before, during, and after our stay! Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. ”

“We had an amazing vacation at this house! Plenty of room for all of us, 6 adults and 7 children. So much to do each day. Kayaking, pedal boating, lots of fishing and a large yard for kids to run around. We rented the pontoon and spent every day enjoying the lake. Great kitchen and plenty of refrigerator/freezer room(a must with 7 hungry kids)! Communication with the owners was great! You will not be disappointed! ”

“The deer haven retreat is an amazing spot for a vacation. The cabin/house has everything you need. It is just far enough away from town to be quiet and close enough to not be inconvenient to run for anything you need. The wilderness park next door was great to watch the deer at different times of day! Definitely will stay again and do recommend for anyone looking for a great and affordable place to stay. ”
