“The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. ”

“This was the most amazing place to stay for a family. Not too far from town but at the same time feeling very remote. House was surrounded with trees and birds. The kids fell in love with the loft. I would say no negatives about this property, but one challenge was the locks which they describe in detail up front. I was afraid of locking us out of the house so I just kept the key in the lockbox. ”
