“We visit this area every year and have stayed in many places. Library Lodge was as quaint and comfortable as they come. Many comforts & amenities are provided for. Beautiful kitchen and living space. Comfortable beds and showers. A reminder as I missed it when booking, but there are no traditional TVs here but a modern projector that you can stream from in the living room only. Super simple to use but worth mentioning so you can prepare if needed. This is great to unplug and decompress, which……

“We had a great time at the cabin! It was the perfect escape from the city. The view was gorgeous, and the cabin had everything we needed. We also tried to use the canoe but the padlock is stuck, it might be rusted/need to be replaced. Otherwise everything was perfect!”

“Amazing location on a completely private small lake just a few minutes off the Taconic Parkway. Host is very helpful, and very artistic. Sleeping on a pull out couch was initially off-putting, but it is very high quality and fairly comfortable, and works for the space. So many birds to see and hear! Nice hiking trails on the large property, which has adjacent preserved land. ”

“Amazing cabin that was perfect to relax in by the wood stove and look out at the snowy woods. Had all the modern amenities we needed and a well-stocked kitchen. Be careful with the driveway if coming in the winter. We were here during a snowstorm that turned to slush and then ice. The plow did come for the driveway but it still left a layer of ice that we needed a couple tries to get out of in our 4X4 SUV. It also was very slippery walking to the house.
