The village is very small, but has bars, restaurants and a small supermarket within 15 minutes walking distance. The few inhabitants in the village are friendly and open to tourists. The landlord is easily accessible if needed. Everything was as described, the landlord very helpful, a very nice and relaxed stay.”

“Die Unterkunft - ein Haus mit zwei Wohneinheiten- am schroffen Berghang, schön gelegen, an einer steilen Straße zu einem kleinen Weiler, nachts kein Durchgangsverkehr, sehr ruhig. Alles geflegt und sauber, einfach und praktisch eingerichtet. Die Nachbarin kümmert sich rührend direkt um alle Anliegen.”

“Der Ort, in dem das Quartier liegt, ist sehr klein und nur über eine außerordentlich steile Straße zu erreichen. Das ist nicht jedermanns Sache. Die Wirtin ist sehr freundlich. In dem Haus kann man sich sehr wohl fühlen.”

“This mountain house was positively delightful. While it was in a pretty remote location, the views were breathtaking. It's located in a quaint tiny village on the Cares trail -- definitely bring provisions with you as the kitchen is perfect for cooking meals (and the food is so good in this area it's hard to make a bad meal). After a long day of hiking, we cozied up next to the fire, and enjoyed the mountain night sky against the craggy peaks of Picos de Europa. Bedrooms were comfortable, and……
